Victorian Sterling Silver Tea Kettle with Rechaud

A fine English Victorian sterling silver tea kettle on stand with burner. The stand rests on three stylized hoof feet and supports a compressed spherical kettle. The handle is partly fitted with ebonised wood for insulation, and the domed lid is mounted by a brown Bakelite finial.

Hallmark for silversmith, silver quality and and date letter “d” for 1899.
