A set of three white porcelain vases decorated in gold, model no. 447/8569, produced by Royal Copenhagen between 1965 and 1973.
These vases are based on designs by Gustav Friederich Hetsch, who served as artistic director of the Royal Porcelain Factory from 1828 to 1864. Hetsch was an influential figure in late Classicism during the 1840s and 1850s, distinguished both as an architect and a designer. During his tenure, he developed a range of forms and decorations inspired by classical antiquity, many of which continued to shape Royal Copenhagen’s production long after his era.
