Elegant bottle-shaped porcelain vase decorated in underglaze with a finely rendered chrysanthemum motif, a symbol of refinement and harmony. The vase is signed CZ on the lower body and bears the inscription C. Zernichow, 20/4, 1920 on the base, indicating authorship and date. It's the No.4 of a limited production of 20 pieces.
Designed by Cathrine Helene Zernichow, who worked at Royal Copenhagen from 1905 for about twenty years, this piece reflects the high artistic quality and craftsmanship of early 20th-century Danish porcelain.
