A remarkable 19th-century Meissen coffee set comprising a coffee pot, milk jug, sugar bowl, two cups with saucers, and an oval tray. Each piece is richly decorated with applied "Schneeballblüten" (snowball blossoms), modeled individually and intertwined with finely sculpted branches and leaves. The surfaces are enhanced with delicate polychrome painting and subtle gilt accents.
Inspired by East Asian decoration, J.J. Kaendler introduced this full-surface floral design in 1739, marking a major artistic and technical achievement in porcelain history. Marked with the Meissen crossed swords. Minor restorations applied.
