KPM “Weichmalerei" Plate Painted with Roses

An early 20th century porcelain plate in the “Weichmalerei" (soft painting) style by Wilhelm Lepke. It has a round, slightly recessed shape with a gilded relief rim in Rocaille style. The central area features a dense arrangement of branches with blooming wild roses, painted in delicate polychrome with soft tones and partially highlighted in white. Painted with a flying bee and other insects.
