KPM “Weichmalerei" Flower Plate by R. E. Flöricke

An early 20th century porcelain plate painted with flower bouquet of azaleas in the "Weichmalerei" (soft painting) style by R. E. Flöricke. It has a round, slightly recessed shape with a gilded relief rim in Rocaille style.

Richard Edmund Flöricke: born in 1877 and received full training as a flower painter at the KPM from 1896, active until 1942. The plate has the painter's signature and mark.
