An early 20th century porcelain plate painted with flower bouquet of alpine violets in the “Weichmalerei" (soft painting) style by M. Liebenau. It has a round, slightly recessed shape with a gilded relief rim in Rocaille style.
Max Liebenau: born in 1875 and received full training as a flower painter from 1894, active at KPM until 1931. The plate has the painter's signature and mark.
