About the artist: Alberto Donà is a highly celebrated, master glassmaker born in Italy in 1944. He started working in a glass furnace at the age of 13, learning from legendary masters and eventually opened his own studio in 1970s. He is internationally acclaimed and has collaborated with various companies, has held solo exhibitions in London and designed lighting installations for the Hiroshima Memorial Museum.
